Mola Web

The Mola Web is a collaborative hypertext written by Carolyn Guyer, Michael Joyce, Nigel Kerr, Nancy Lin and Suze Schweitzer. Though it was originally written and published in 1995 (I think), which in academic, writing, and publishing terms makes it a recent work, it is already visibly dated in relation to HTML and the web.

It is a highly reflexive web project that explores the possibilities of online hypertext. It does this through three major mechanisms;

an imagemap of ideograms
self reflexive nodes (or lexias)
saturated linking
