In no particular order these are the sites I want to have a bit of a look at today. Most are publications, which means they are sites that publish material from contributors, and in most cases each publication is electronic only (they are not web sites of print based publications).

In web design we can think of a distinction between interface issues (of usability) and of 'coolness'. This is a major issue in stuff to do with hypertext and the web simply because of the lot of the material that gets celebrated isn't very 'usable'.
