Singin' in the Rain:
hypertextual readings
This essay proposes a relatively simple 'close reading' of Kelly and Donen's 1956 Singin' in the Rain. However, the methodology utilised for this 'simple' reading offers manifold possibilities for what film interpretation might be in a digital age, and actively develops one possible methodology for the integration of cinema studies practice and hypertext.
